Northern Grade: American Made
Lazy Sundays are great. In November, when the air is chilly and possibly filled with little snow flakes, it is ideal to curl up on the couch with a piping hot cup of coffee and revel in coziness. Well, this Sunday was not that Sunday. It was chilly, I swear I saw a few flakes. And no question about it, I had a cup o' joe. But we did not stay on the couch. Instead, we headed into the urban jungle to support American Made companies at the pop-up market, Norther Grade.
This year, Northern Grade was in our sister city, Minneapolis in a warehouse-chic space. The crisp, white venue was lined with leather goods, bags, canoe paddles, art, and great views of downtown Minneapolis. Two of my favorite shops were in attendance, Forage and Askov Finlayson, offering inspiration and exceptional style. It was great afternoon sipping craft coffee, picking the perfect bow ties, and admiring the myriad lumberjack beards that Minneapolis has to offer. I'd call it a Sunday afternoon well spent. Northern Grade sets up shop in Austin, LA, Chicago, the Twin Cities, and NYC; check out their schedule here to mark your calendars for 2015.
Vi ses senare!
