A Country Christmas

During the Christmas season there are so many events available to fill your schedule with holiday cheer. For the past few years {since graduating out of my Swedish Choir}, it has been hard to get across the river and take part in the festivities in the small town of Stockholm, Wisconsin. Every December, Stockholm has a sweet little festival featuring horse drawn wagon rides, mulled glogg, roasting chestnuts, and delightful shopping along its two main streets.

This year we made it a priority to participate in this little event. It was a great opportunity to be involved in the greater community without breaking the budget, We had a fun family day seeing the sights and taking pictures all for the price of a half a tank of gas and two hot chocolates. Ethan even got a visit from Santa Claus! Enjoying this quaint, tiny town was just what we needed to get in the Christmas spirit!

To add this event to your holiday schedule next year or check out upcoming events throughout the year, visit the Stockholm website here.

God Jul!
